A Little Bit About Me
Trust, tea, tawakkul… and a little trouble.
Grounded in faith but light on my feet - literally. I love deep conversation, spontaneous joy, and yes, I will dance 💃🏻 around the kitchen if the playlist’s right.
I’m a practicing Muslim: dress modestly by choice, follow traditional Sunni scholarship, and firmly believe that joy is a sunnah. Team Mawlid all the way — any excuse to celebrate my love for the Prophet ﷺ If you like a wife who parties the halal way, we’ll get on just fine. Life long student of knowledge with teachers in the UK, US, Syria, Jordan & Yemen.
Postgrad-educated, multilingual (yes, I can speak “love” in four languages 😏), and passionate about justice. I work with refugees and survivors of conflict - I’ve lived in war zones, so I’m definitely not looking for conflict at home.
Travel? Always purpose-driven - not just ticking places off a list. Lived in the Middle East (mainly Palestine 🍉); Jerusalem holds a piece of my heart. Roots in South Asia. Hajj is a priority. Syria and Iraq are high on the bucket list.
Interests? Hiking, quiet moments in nature, spiritual retreats, books - and yes, the Single Muslim cliché: gym sessions. Always up for new and fun things - I’ll even let you race me in the park… as long as you follow the sunnah and let me win 😉
I’ve lived, loved, and learned. Now I’m ready to meet someone who gets it. Maybe I haven’t got it right before - but I haven’t given up. Who said finding your soulmate would be easy?
Confession: I don’t enjoy cooking. If you believe "the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach," I’ll struggle with that one. But I make up for it in other ways!
Relocation may not be practical for me straight away, but I can offer flexibility in the future.
If you understand that being a single mum means I’ve been through some tough stuff and still come out smiling, we might just click 🙂

What I Am Looking For
I appreciate a man who has moved past the midlife crisis stage and knows how to manage his nafs. Someone who’s genuinely excited about building a meaningful, faith-driven life together, with Tawakkul, trusting that Allah swt never disappoints His believing slaves.
A partner who is:
• Firm in his deen, following one of the four madhabs, with humility to self-reflect before advising others.
• Financially ethical, understanding the weight of halal and haram (No riba-based mortgage, loans, credit cards etc).
• Emotionally mature, with an open mind and a non-judgmental approach.
• Based in the UK, for practical reasons.
So...
• Deen First
• Financially Ethical (No Riba)
• Drama-Free Energy
• Trust = Bulletproof
• Depth & Banter
If this resonates with you, and you're thinking, "Wow, she sounds dangerously interesting" - message me! 😊
